Piano Courses

Intensive piano courses focused on interpretation, chamber music, improvisation and musical collaboration.
The Piano Courses held at ZUŠ Taussigova in Prague offer intensive tuition on top-quality Fazioli pianos under the guidance of experienced lecturers Matouš Zukal and Jan Polívka.

The courses are intended for students, amateurs, teachers and active musicians interested in developing piano interpretation, chamber music skills, improvisation and musical collaboration.

In addition to solo piano playing, participants may also focus on chamber music, improvisation, composition, conducting, harpsichord, organ playing and choir singing.

Each active participant will receive four individual 45-minute lessons with one or both lecturers according to personal preference. Selected repertoire may be performed at the final participants’ concert.

Conditions

The courses are intended for beginners, students, amateurs and teachers.

Participants may choose one or both lecturers.

Applications may also be accepted after the official start of the course if there is remaining capacity.
