Magic Music in Magic Prague
The I-AME Summer Academy “Magic Music in Magic Prague” offers a unique opportunity to explore Prague’s rich cultural heritage while developing your own abilities and artistic skills. Participants will experience the city’s vibrant music scene and discover the iconic landmarks that make Prague so magical.
This year, we will be in the heart of Prague, and in cooperation with the Jan Deyl Conservatory, we will take our summer music academy to a new level. Participants will attend lectures, workshops, and concerts focused on classical music. The program is open to all age groups. Basic instrumental skills are required, but no previous chamber music experience is necessary.
With the participation of leading Czech and international artists and teachers, we organize a summer music academy for young musicians and a music camp for children. We also present a music festival featuring guest artists, faculty members, and participants of the academy and camp. We seek out emerging talented artists and present them in concerts. Through creative music and art programs, we support the personal and cultural development of the young generation.

Organization, programm
We will begin on the afternoon of July 10, 2026, with an introductory meeting where faculty and students will get to know one another. In the evening, we will attend the opening concert together.
During the first half of the following week, additional concerts by faculty members and guest artists will take place. From Saturday, July 11, each participant will take part in solo lessons and chamber ensembles. Students will also be placed, according to their level and experience, in the Junior Orchestra or the Academy Orchestra.
Lunches are provided for all participants, and children will also receive snacks. Breakfast is included for participants staying in the accommodation, and children under 14 staying with us, whether as part of the academy or the camp, will also receive dinners.
Student concerts will take place in the concert hall of the Jan Hanuš Music School in Břevnov. On Saturday, we will spend the morning and afternoon at the final music marathon, where participants will present what they have worked on during the academy: solo pieces, chamber ensembles in our popular musical promenades, orchestra performances, and selected ensembles combining students and faculty members.
On the final day, we will travel to Tloskov for a concert. We are always warmly welcomed there, and it is a place we greatly enjoy visiting and wish to return to.
