International Arnold Schönberg Masterclasses

From July 7–17, 2026, the Arnold Schönberg Center in Vienna will host masterclasses in the disciplines of Voice, Voice and Piano Duo, Piano Solo and Chamber Music. It offers aspiring musicians a unique opportunity to work together with renowned experts on the works of Arnold Schönberg and the Second Viennese School which will be presented to the audience in concerts at the Arnold Schönberg Center on July 17, 2026. Another historically significant teaching venue of the masterclasses is the Schönberg House in Mödling, where Arnold Schönberg lived and worked from 1918 to 1925. A rich and diverse cultural program will accompany the event and be available to all participants. Experience Vienna, one of Schönberg’s key places of activity, gain deep insights into his work, and be inspired by new artistic impulses!

Musicians and ensembles can apply via online application form on the website of the Arnold Schönberg Center.
The audition is based on video recordings.
